Before beginning her real estate career, Gemma proudly served for 25 years with the New York City Police Department, retiring as a Detective Lieutenant. Raised in a family dedicated to public service, including FDNY firefighters and Suffolk and Nassau County police officers, she developed a lifelong commitment to helping others, building trust, and serving her community. These qualities continue to define her approach to real estate today.
Born in Ireland and raised in New York, Gemma's interest in real estate began at an early age through her father, a general contractor. That foundation sparked a passion for homes, construction, and property investment that ultimately led her to a successful career in real estate.
Committed to providing the highest level of service, Gemma has earned a Staging Specialist designation, allowing her to better prepare homes for today's market and help clients achieve the best possible outcomes. Gemma is incredible! She helped us sell our original house and buy our new house. from day one, she was responsive and gave objective advice and kept our views realistic. On the selling side, she worked so hard to help us stage and prep our house for professional pictures (they were incredible and she had such a good eye for detail!) and to get people in the door for showings and open houses, ultimately getting us the best price, and in just about 2 months time, we were in contract. On the buying end, she mapped out quite a few days with multiple appointments and got us in to see as many houses as possible, listening to our needs and wants and ultimately found us our dream house. Gemma listed and sold my mother-in-law's house in 2019. Gemma provided us with all of the comparable homes in the area and made recommendations on how to get the most money for the house.
