Gemma was born on a farm in Ireland and came to the United States at a young age. Coming from a family of FDNY firefighters and SCPD/NCPD officers, Gemma followed suit and had an impressive 25-year run as a Detective Lieutenant for the NYPD. Her father was a general contractor which first gave Gemma an interest in real estate.
